In the framework of the criminal case investigated in General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of RA Investigative Committee murder of 24 year-old young man committed in Vayots Dzor was revealed, the frame of those involved in hooliganism with items used as a weapon was found. On the base of the obtained evidence charge was pressed against 7 persons.
 

On May 15, 2016 at about 23:15 a call was received from “Yeghegnadzor” medical center informing that the residents of Yeghegnadzor S. Harutyunyan with diagnosis of “penetrating wound on the abdomen, damage of stomach”, L. Grigoryan with diagnosis of “not penetrating blind wound on the right half of the chest” and S. Hovakimyan with diagnosis of “penetrating wound on the left part of the chest” were taken to medical center. The latter died there without regaining consciousness.
 

On the same day three more young men – E. Babayan, A. Vardanyan and H. Hovakimyan with different bodily injuries were taken to medical center.
 

In the result of urgent investigatory actions it was found that all the mentioned men sustained bodily injuries on May 15, 2016 at about 23:00 during the argument that took place in the yard of auto parts shop located on Yerevanyan roadway of Yeghegnadzor town.
 

A criminal case was initiated in Vayots Dzor Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 104, the Point 1 of the Part 2 of the Article 34-104, the Point 1 of the Part 2 of the Article 112 and the Part 4 of the Article 258 of RA Criminal Code. Conduction of preliminary investigation of the mentioned criminal case was tasked to General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of RA Investigative Committee by the RA IC Chairman.
 

An investigatory group was formed, an investigatory plan was worked out and investigatory actions of great volume were conducted to find the motive of the argument, the frame of those involved, to personalize their actions.
 

According to preliminary investigation data, on May 15, 2016 at about 22:40 the residents of Yeghegnadzor A. Vardanyan and S. Hovakimyan together with their supporters taking with them cutting-piercing items, bludgeons gathered in front of the auto parts shop located on Yerevanyan roadway of Yeghegnadzor town to make clarifications on disagreements they had had before. The argument turned into brawl and hooliganism during which several items were used as a weapon. As a result, 6 persons sustained bodily injuries of several gravities, one of them – incompatible with life.
 

Through investigation the actions of those involved were personalized, the person having inflicted bodily injuries to the left part and lateral surface of S. Hovakimyan’s chest with a cutting-piercing item was identified.
 

On the base of the obtained evidence on December 9, 2016 charge was pressed against A. Vardanyan according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 and the Part 4 of the Article 258 of RA Criminal Code, charge was pressed against 4 persons involved in the argument according to the Part 4 of the Article 258 of RA Criminal Code, against 2 – according to the Point 1 of the Part 3 of the Article 258 of RA Criminal Code. The part on them was separated from the criminal case as a separate proceeding and its preliminary investigation was completed.
 

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
