Investigation is conducted in Vayots Dzor Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee to find out all circumstances of hooliganism committed in the town of Yeghegnadzor.

Pursuant to initial data, on April 3, 2021 at about 16:00 34 year-old man together with his two friends drove to the car service center in his car of «BMW X 5» make. In the mentioned place noticing 37 year-old resident of Getap village the three friends got out of the car, approached the resident of Getap village and started arguing during which 34 year-old man, in order to emphasize his own privilege, held 37 year-old man’s hand to prevent his escape, one of his friends took a hunting gun out of the trunk of the mentioned car and gave it to 34 year-old friend, the other tried to catch 37 year-old man.   

Feeling that his life was in danger the latter fled during which 34 year-old man, threatening to use violence, fired three shots towards him. Then the three friends escaped in the car of «BMW X 5» make.

A criminal case was initiated in Vayots Dzor Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 4 of the Article 258 (hooliganism) of RA Criminal Code.

In the result of operative-intelligence measures the three friends were arrested on suspicion of committing the above-mentioned crime.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
