31 Year-Old Daughter-in-Law apparently Killed her Husband’s 75 Year-Old Mother in Hovtashat Village
On February 29, 2020 at 13:40 a call was received in Masis Police Division from “Masis Medical Center” CJSC informing that 75 year-old resident of Hovtashat village of Ararat province had suddenly died in her house.
In the result of necessary measures it was found out that the woman had not died suddenly, but on February 29, 2020 at about 09:00 during the argument 31 year-old daughter-in-law killed her husband’s 75 year-old mother by strangling her with a headscarf.
A criminal case was initiated in Masis Investigative Division of Ararat Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 (murder) of RA Criminal Code.
31 year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of killing her 75 year-old mother-in-law.
Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
