In the framework of the criminal case investigated in General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the RA Investigative Committee investigatory actions of great volume are conducted to find out all circumstances of the armed incident that took place at “Partez” restaurant complex. Through investigation data were obtained on involvement of 4 more persons in the mentioned incident.

As we have already informed, on January 29, 2019 at about 01:00 there was an argument at «Partez» restaurant complex operating on Arzni highway which turned into an armed incident during which firearms of different models were used. In the result of fired shots 8 persons sustained firearm injuries. One of them - the resident of Abovyan Artashes Gevorgyan, born in 1989, died of the injuries he had sustained.

In the result of urgent investigatory and operative-searching measures the motive of the argument was found out, data were obtained on the frame of those involved and investigation is conducted to personalize the actions of each of them.

4 more persons were arrested on suspicion of being related to the armed incident.

Thus, as of this moment, within the criminal case there are 5 suspects, charge was pressed against one more person, born in 1995, according to the Part 4 of the Article 258 of RA Criminal Code. At the same time the investigator submitted a motion to court to use detention as a pretrial measure against the defendant.

We remind that a criminal case was initiated according to the Points 6, 7, 10 of the Part 2 of the Article 104, the Points 1, 6, 7, 10 of the Part 2 of the Article 34-104, the Part 1 of the Article 235 and the Part 4 of the Article 258 of RA Criminal Code preliminary investigation of which is conducted in General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of RA Investigative Committee. An investigatory group was formed.
