In the framework of the criminal case investigated in the proceeding of General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the RA Investigative Committee investigatory actions of great volume are conducted to find out the frame of those involved in the armed incident that took place at «Partez» restaurant complex operating on January 29, 2019 at about 01 in Abovyan town, to personalize the actions and to give criminal legal assessment to them.

As we have already informed on January 29 there was an argument at «Partez» restaurant complex which turned into an armed incident during which firearms of different models were used. In the result of fired shots the resident of Abovyan Artashes Gevorgyan, born in 1989, sustained injuries incompatible with life, 7 more people sustained injuries of several gravity.

In the result of urgent investigatory and operative-searching measures data were obtained on several people involved in the argument, the motive. Within the criminal case two people were arrested; one of them was arrested on suspicion of committing hooliganism with a group, the other – on suspicion of murder attempt and hooliganism by using a weapon.

During preliminary investigation through inspection of the scene capsules of several types and caliber were found and confiscated, more than two dozens of searches were conducted. In order to find out a number of circumstances significant for the criminal case forensic medical, forensic ballistic, forensic trace, forensic genetic and other numerous examinations were commissioned, several dozens of people were questioned, numerous confiscations were conducted.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Information about the decisions made on the base of the obtained evidence will be periodically provided.
