Within the framework of the criminal proceeding investigated in Vaghatshapat Investigative Division of Armavir Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee investigative and procedural actions are conducted to find out circumstances of son-in-law/s murder committed by 45 year-old man in RA Armavir province.

Pursuant to initial data, on February 28, 2023 at about 17:00 45 year-old resident of Kotayk province drove to Jrarat village of Armavir province in his car of “Opel” make where he argued with his 30 year-old son-in-law about domestic matters. During the argument 45 year-old man fired a shot towards 30 year-old man with a hunting gun he had taken with him in advance illegally depriving him of life then he fled. However, he was found by the police officers at the area adjoining the scene and was taken to the police station.

In the result of 45 year-old man’s personal search conducted within the framework of the criminal proceeding initiated according to the Part 1 of the Article 334, the Part 1 of the Article 336 and the Point 9 of the Part 2 of the Article 155 of RA Criminal Code 6 bullets for a hunting gun were found. The clothes he was wearing at the moment of the incident were confiscated. Numerous persons were questioned, forensic medical expertise of the body, forensic trace, forensic ballistic, forensic biological expertise were commissioned.

45 year-old man was arrested on the base of reasonable suspicion of crime committal.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
