The criminal case initiated in Central Division of the RA Police according to the Part 1 of the Article 258 of RA Criminal Code on brutal violation of public order by expressing disrespect to public was received in the Investigative Division of Kentron and Nork-Marash administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee.

Through examination of the materials of the criminal case it was found out that from 10:00 April 20 to 01:30 April 21, 2018 a group of people, neglecting the universally recognized rules of conduct, moral and legal norms, as well as other people's freedom and rights expressed obvious disrespect towards public, did not obey the police officers' legal demands to stop the mentioned criminal activity. The public order was obviously brutally violated – serious disturbance was inflicted to numerous residents of Yerevan by loud voices with the appropriate vehicle equipment and means for emitting voice signals for continuous time willfully violating obvious traffic rules by numerous cars, besides they broke the residents' peace at night creating sphere of fear and panic.

5 people H. Gevorgyan, N. Nazaryan, H. Khurshudyan, A. Gharibyan, A. Jabaghyan were arrested on suspicion of committing hooliganism.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
