During the first half of 2018 551 criminal cases on corruption crimes to be investigated by the RA Investigative Committee envisaged by RA Criminal Procedure Code were investigated in the proceeding of the RA Investigative Committee as compared with 332 cases investigated in the previous year. 153 of these criminal cases were investigated in the proceeding of the RA IC General Military Investigative Department.

Out of the criminal cases investigated in the mentioned period

164 referred to squandering or embezzlement committed with abuse of official position envisaged by the Point 1 of the Part 2 of the Article 179 of RA Criminal Code,

77 – to abuse of official authorities envisaged by the Article 308 of RA Criminal Code,

76 - to abuse of power, transgression or administrative dereliction envisaged by the Article 375 of RA Criminal Code,

58 – to official forgery envisaged by the Article 314 of RA Criminal Code,

41 - to abuse of authority by the employees of commercial or other organizations envisaged by the Article 214 of RA Criminal Code,

33 - to taking bribes envisaged by the Article 311 of RA Criminal Code,

19 – to giving a bribe envisaged by the Article 312 of RA Criminal Code,

14 - to exceeding official authorities envisaged by the Article 309 of RA Criminal Code,

14 - to getting illegal payment from a public servant envisaged by the Article 311.1 of RA Criminal Code,

11 – to swindling committed by using official position envisaged by the Point 1.1 of the Part 2 of the Article 178 of RA Criminal Code,

8 – to commercial bribe envisaged by the Article 200 of RA Criminal Code,

6 – to failure to carry out a court act envisaged by the Points 1 and 2 of the Article 353 of RA Criminal Code,

5 – to unauthorized occupation of land which is a state or community property as well as not taking measures as prescribed by law to suspend, prevent unauthorized construction of buildings,

2 -  to bribing the participants and organizers of professional and commercial sports competition or shows envisaged by the Article 201 of RA Criminal Code,

2 – to using real or alleged influence for mercenary purposes envisaged by the Article 311.2 of RA Criminal Code,

1 – illegal tree and bush cutting committed by using position envisaged by the Point 1 of the Part 2 of the Article 296 of RA Criminal Code,

20 – other corruption crimes envisaged by the Point 2 of the list confirmed by the Point 2 of the order N 3 dated 19.01.2017 of the RA Prosecutor General.

In the mentioned period 47 criminal cases on 102 people with the bill of indictment were sent to court 20 of which on 45 people were investigated in General Military Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee.
