A criminal case initiated on murder attempt against the Armenian peasant committed from Azeri area
A criminal case was initiated in Berd Investigative Division of Tavush Regional Investigative Department of RA Investigative Committee on murder attempt against the 43 year-old resident of the village of Paravaqar committed from the Azeri area.
On 11 January, 2015 at about 13:00 from Azeri stronghold called “Alen’s butka” located on Armenian-Azeri border out of motives of national hate, willfully, with intend to commit a murder shots were fired in the direction of the resident of the village of Paravaqar of the region of Tavush, 43 year-old Albert Zohrabyan who had gone to the field called “Tsaturants canyon”, which belonged to the same village, to gather wood.
In the result of the gunshots the car “VAZ 2121” with registration number 34 AD 169 has completely burnt.
On 12 January a criminal case was initiated in Berd Investigative Division pursuant to the Point 13 of the Part 2 of the Article 34-104 and the Point 4 of the Part 2 of the Article 185 of RA Criminal Code.
It has not been possible yet to inspect the scene as the shots fired by the enemy don’t stop.
Albert Zohrabyan was found a victim and was questioned.
Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
