Abuses at Ayntap Secondary School; Charge Pressed against Three People; Damage Caused to State Restored

In the framework of the criminal case investigated in Ararat Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee apparent abuses were disclosed in secondary school of Ayntap, the frame of those having committed the alleged crime was found out, measures were taken to restore the damage caused to the state.

Pursuant to the actual data obtained in the pretrial proceeding, the apparent abuses were recorded in 2014 -2017. Introducing false information in the official documents, abusing official authority money in large amount was squandered. The damage caused to the state was 2.355.768 AMD.

Through investigation the frame of those involved in apparent abuses were clarified and on the base of the obtained evidence charge was pressed against three people.

Particularly, charge was pressed against the school headmaster according to the Part 1 of the Article 314 and the Points 1 and 3 of the Part 2 of the Article 179 of RA Criminal Code, charge was pressed against the economist and the resident of Nor Kharberd according to the Part 1 of the Article 38-314 and the Points 1 and 3 of the Part 2 of the Article 38-179 of RA Criminal Code.

They accepted charges and gave testimony.

The damage caused to the state was completely restored by the school headmaster; 2.355.768 AMD was transferred to the RA IC deposit account.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
