In the framework of the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Qanaqer-Zeytun administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee measures are taken to find out the circumstances of a number of abuses committed in the Polyclinic N 16 of Yerevan. Charge was pressed against 2 people.

Through preliminary investigation data were obtained on illegal payment, bribe, swindling money by cheating in which separate employees of Polyclinic N 16 were involved.

Criminal cases were initiated on a number of abuses committed in the Polyclinic N 16 of Yerevan which were joint in one proceeding in the RA IC Investigative Division of Qanaqer-Zeytun administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department and necessary measures are taken to find out the circumstances of the case, to identify those having committed the alleged crime.

Pursuant to initial data the abuses were committed from 2015 to 2018.Several people having committed the alleged crime were identified and charge was pressed against two of them.

Thus, on June 27 charge was pressed against a nurse of the Polyclinic N 16 according to the Part 1 of the Article 312 of RA Criminal Code, charge was pressed against a doctor according to the Point 1 of the Part 3 of the Article 38-179 of RA Criminal Code. On June 28 two more nurses were questioned as suspect and signature not to leave was chosen as a pretrial measure against them.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Additional information on procedural decisions made on the base of the obtained evidence will be provided.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
