The Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee Aghvan Hovsepyan today received Head of the OSCE Office in Yerevan, Ambassador Andrey Sorokin in connection with completing his diplomatic mission in Armenia.
 

The Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee thanked the Ambassador for efficient cooperation stating that during his tenure mechanisms of much closer cooperation have been formed, particularly directed to development of professional skills of the officials of law enforcement bodies.
 

A. Hovsepyan assessed highly the support provided by the OSCE Office in Yerevan in implementation of projects for development of legislative base regulating the activity of the Investigative Committee, development of skills, as well as provision of publicity of its activities.
 

By the order of the Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee the Head of the OSCE Office in Yerevan Andrey Sorokin was awarded with a “Cooperation Medal” and Legal Council of the office Maria Silvanyan was awarded with a letter of thanks.
 

Head of the OSCE Office in Yerevan Andrey Sorokin emphasized that OSCE highlights the protection of human rights, the promotion of criminal justice system and expressed his gratitude for the efficient cooperation, understanding and joint work performed for implementation of the mentioned issues.
 

A. Hovsepyan wished the Ambassador success in his further activities and expressed hope that the cooperation formed between the OSCE Office in Yerevan and the Investigative Committee will go on outlining new areas of cooperation.
