A criminal case was initiated in Stepanavan Investigative Division of Lori Regional Investigative Department of RA Investigative Committee on car crash that took place on Tashir-Stepanavan road and caused the death of 7 young men.
 

On June 6, 2015 at about 00:00 on the 10^th km of Tashir-Stepanavan road “Volkswagen Touareg” without registration plate went out of the driving way of the road to Stepanavan, crashed at the tree and burnt in the result of which the 7 persons who were in the car died.
 

The victims of the crash are the citizens of Tashir town Vanik Mardoyan, Karen Khachatryan, Gevorg Poghosyan, Arman Tonoyan, Gaspar Ghukeyan, Vahag Albertyan and the resident of Yerevan Artur Balyan.
 

At the scene - at the central part of the road about 87 meters to Tashir a dead badger was found.
 

On June 6, 2015 a criminal case was initiated in Lori Regional Investigative Department of RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 3 of the Article 242 of RA Criminal Code. By the decision of the Head of Lori Regional Investigative Department an investigative group was formed. Preliminary investigation is ongoing, investigatory and procedural actions are conducted to find the reasons of the crash. Inspections of the scene, the vehicle and the bodies were conducted, forensic examinations were appointed.
