A criminal case was initiated in Yerevan Investigative Department of RA Investigative Committee on the car crash that caused the death of a 7^th grade pupil.
 

On June 21, 2015 at about 19:00 in front of the house 2/2 of Shrjanayin Street, Yerevan the car “Opel” with 35 TL 909 plate number, driven by the citizen Artur Stepanyan went off the traffic zone and fell into the channel. As a result, the passenger Georgi Stepanyan born in 2002 (7^th grade pupil) drowned. First, the boy was taken to “Malatia” medical center then to “St. Mary” where he died on June 22 without gaining consciousness.
 

A criminal case was initiated in Yerevan Investigative Department of RA investigative Committee according to the Point 2 of the Article 242 of RA Criminal Code (breach of traffic rules and operation of means of transportation which negligently caused human death).
 

In the framework of the criminal case necessary investigative and procedural measures are taken to find the causes and circumstances of the crash.
 

Those citizens who have been at the scene and have any information on the crash which caused the child’s death are asked to turn to Yerevan Investigative Department of RA Investigative Committee.
