In the result of investigatory actions conducted in the Investigative Division of Arabkir administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee circumstances of inflicting heavy and light damage to two men’s health were found out. The person having committed the alleged crime was detained.

On December 15, 2019 at 21:55 a call was received in Arabkir Police Division from “Saint Mary” medical center informing that 44 year-old resident of Yerevan and 38 year-old resident of Ararat province with “cut-pierced wound on the frontal part of the chest” and “wound on the head, scratches on the left cheek, lower eyelid of the right eye, left ear” were taken to medical center.

A criminal case was initiated in the RA IC Investigative Division of Arabkir administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 and the Article 117 of RA Criminal Code. 44 year-old and 38 year-old men were found the injured party.

Through preliminary investigation it was found out that the above-mentioned men had sustained the bodily injuries during the argument that took place on December 15 at 21:00 in Kievyan Street.

In the result of necessary investigatory and other procedural actions a number of circumstances of the incident, including the motive were also found out, the person having committed the alleged crime was identified; he is a resident of Yerevan, born in 1993. Charge was pressed against the latter according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 and the Article 117 of RA Criminal Code. Detention was chosen as a pretrial measure against him.

Forensic medical, forensic genetic and forensic trace complex examination was commissioned to find out circumstances significant for the criminal case.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
