On June 3, 2020 at 14:25 a call was received from «Erebuni» medical center in Erebuni Police Division informing that 23 year-old resident of Ararat province with cut-pierced wound on the left part of lumber of region was taken to them.

In the result of taken measures it was found out that on June 3, 2020 at about 13:30 during the argument that took place in Khaghagh Don Street of Yerevan on personal matters 27 year-old resident of Yerevan stabbed the resident of Ararat province on the left part of lumber region causing bodily injury.

A criminal case was initiated in Erebuni Police Division according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 (willful infliction of heavy bodily damage) of RA Criminal Code preliminary investigation of which is conducted in the Investigative Division of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee.

Through inspection of the scene the crime tool – the knife was found and confiscated which was presented to 27 year-old young man for recognition. The latter declared that he had stabbed and caused bodily injuries to the resident of Ararat province with the mentioned knife.

On the base of the obtained sufficient evidence charge was pressed against 27 year-old resident of Yerevan according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code. Signature not to leave was chosen as a pretrial measure against him.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
