Two Persons’ Stabbing in Yerevan
On May 25, 2021 at 22:00 a call was received in Malatia Police Division from “Astghik” medical center informing that 43 year-old man with cut wound on the abdomen was taken to hospital.
During preparation of materials actual data were obtained on the allegation that 58 year-old woman with cut-pierced wound was taken to the same medical center.
A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Malatia-Sebastia administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Point 1 of the Part 2 of the Article 112 (infliction of willful heavy damage to health) of RA Criminal Code.
During preliminary investigation the above-mentioned persons were found the injured party, their clothes were confiscated, inspection of the scene, interrogation was conducted, forensic medical examination was commissioned.
Measures are taken to find out all circumstances, to identify the person (persons) having committed the alleged crime.
Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
