Preliminary investigation of the criminal case initiated on beating 38 year-old woman, willful infliction of light damage, causing a juvenile to attempt to commit suicide, willful spoilage of property was completed in the Investigative Division of Ajapnyak and Davtashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee. Charge was pressed against 31 year-old man.

Pursuant to data obtained during pretrial proceeding, in summer, 2017 the resident of Yerevan, born in 1987, got acquainted with a 38 year-old resident of Yerevan and established personal relations. After a while unfriendly relations were formed between them as 31 year-old man, under the influence of alcohol, started to disturb the woman and the latter's children.

Particularly, through preliminary investigation it was found out that on April 3, 2018 at about 05:30 in the woman's car of «BMW» make 31 year-old man argued with the woman and hit her on the head because the latter had submitted a complaint in the police.

Factual data were also obtained on the allegation that 31 year-old man who had visited the woman's apartment for months mocked at the junior daughter of the woman humiliating her dignity. And when the 17 year-old girl intervened in the quarrels of her mother and the man, the latter threatened the girl to disseminate disgracing information about her mother. That’s why on April 8, 2018 at about 01:30 in their apartment the juvenile took several pills attempting to commit suicide.

Besides, on May 27, 2018 at about 01:30 during telephone conversation the man argued and scolded the woman and her daughter. In order to get clarifications they met during which the man hit the woman with his head on her face, as well as on different parts of her body with a crutch that was in his hand.

On June 26, 2018 during one of the meetings the man argued with the woman, pulled her clothes, hit her on the abdomen, feet and chest with a foot causing her physical pain and bodily damages not containing elements of light damage to health.

Then, in order to improve relations on July 22, 2018 31 year-old man and 38 year-old woman met. However, the man again used violence against the woman; in the car he hit the woman on the face and different parts of her body for numerous times, pulled her hair then got out of the car, drew the woman out of the car and threw her to the ground.

Besides, with the purpose of spoiling somebody else’s property on April 6 and April 11, 2018 the man damaged the cars of “BMW” and «Peugeot 407» make with stones causing pecuniary damage of 765 000 և 285 000 AMD, respectively.

On the base of the obtained sufficient evidence charge was pressed against 31 year-old man according to the Part 1 of the Article 110, the Article 118 (3 counts), the Article 117, the Part 1 of the Article 185 and the Point 2 of the Part 2 of the Article 185 of RA Criminal Code. Detention was chosen as a pretrial measure against him.

Preliminary investigation was completed and the criminal case with the bill of indictment was sent to court.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
