Preliminary investigation of the criminal case initiated in the Investigative Division of Malatia-Sebastia administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee on abuses in “Polyclinic N 19” CJSC is ongoing.

In the result of investigatory actions of great volume sufficient data were obtained on apparent exceeding official authorities by the director of Polyclinic N 19.

On May 25 an article entitled “Abuses Revealed in Polyclinic N 19; Davit Khazhakyan” was published on website “1in.am”. On the base of the materials prepared based on the article on June 8, 2018 a criminal case was initiated according to the Part 1 of the Article 308 of RA Criminal Code preliminary investigation of which is conducted in the RA IC Investigative Division of Malatia-Sebastia administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department.

In the result of investigatory actions of great volume conducted within the criminal case actual data were obtained on the allegation that deductions within the limits of 10.000 – 20.000 AMD have been made for years from the salaries of polyclinic employees.

Besides, it was also found out that in the names of imaginary persons payments of 10.000 AMD for “Mammography” examination were made in the case when the mentioned device has never been operated.

On the base of the obtained sufficient evidence charge was pressed against the director of “Polyclinic N 19” CJSC according to the Part 1 of the Article 309 of RA Criminal Code. Signature not to leave was used as a pretrial measure against him.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
