In the framework of the criminal case investigated in the proceeding of General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the RA Investigative Committee on the incident that took place on March 14 in Jrarat charge was pressed against Tigran Sargsyan, born in 1982.
 

Necessary investigatory actions are conducted in the framework of the criminal case to find all circumstances of the argument in Jrarat in the result of which three persons sustained bodily injuries, to provide the comprehensive, objective and complete investigation of the case.
 

Pursuant to preliminary investigation data, on March 14, 2017 at about 14:00 with the purpose of clarifying matters on the argument that took place among schoolchildren of the secondary school after Tatul Khachatryan of Jrarat community, Armavir region, their relatives and supporters met at the village municipality.
 

The argument turned into beating during which deputy head of the village Tigran Sargsyan together with other persons beat Meliq Melqonyan, Hakob Melqonyan and minor Arayik, fired shots. As a result, light damage was inflicted to Meliq Melqonyan’s health, damage of medium gravity was inflicted to Hakob Melqonyan and the minor.
 

On the base of the obtained evidence charge was pressed against T. Sargsyan according to the Point 3 of the Part 2 of the Article 113 and the Part 1 of the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code.
 

The investigator submitted a motion to court to use detention as a pretrial measure against him, the motion was sufficed. Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Active investigatory actions are conducted to personalize the actions of others involved in the incident.
 

Additional information on procedural decisions made on the base of the obtained evidence will be provided.
