In the result of comprehensive investigation conducted in the framework of the criminal case investigated in General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the RA Investigative Committee on murder of the resident of Alaverdi town K. Piruzyan an explosive was found and charge was pressed against 44 year-old resident of Alaverdi for its procurement, keeping. The criminal case on his part was separated in a separate proceeding and preliminary investigation was completed.

It was earlier informed that on June 13, 2017 near the shop located at 20 Tumanyan, Alaverdi town shots were fired from a firearm of “Makarov” model towards Kamo Piruzyan, born in 1978, who died of bodily injuries he had sustained.

In the framework of the criminal case investigated in the IC General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases numerous investigatory and other procedural actions were conducted to find all circumstances, to identify all those possibly involved in murder, searches were conducted in a few dozens of addresses.

As a result, explosive of ammonium type with total weight of 461 grams was found in the trade hall located in Alaverdi town which belongs to the resident of the same town, M. Ramazyan, born in 1974. Through preliminary investigation actual data were obtained that M. Ramazyan has illegally procured and kept the explosive since 2013.

On the base of the obtained sufficient evidence charge was pressed against M. Ramazyan according to the Part 1 of the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code, detention was chosen as a pretrial measure against him. Criminal case on his part was separated as a separate proceeding, preliminary investigation was completed and with the bill of indictment was sent to court.
