Investigation is conducted in Kotayk Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee to find out all circumstances of 22 year-old young man’s murder committed in the restaurant.

On February 6, 2021 at 23:15 a call was received from a citizen informing that in “Tsirani aygi” restaurant located in Arinj community of Kotayk province the customers stabbed one another.

Then at 23:55 a call was received from Hospital N 1 after Heratsi informing that the resident of Hrazdan, born in 1998, with a diagnosis of numerous cut-pierced wounds, biological death was taken to them.

It was found out that the latter had sustained the bodily injuries incompatible with life during the above-mentioned incident.

The investigative-operative group immediately left for the scene.

Pursuant to initial data, on February 6, 2021 at about 22:30 in “Tsirani aygi” restaurant located in Arinj community of Kotayk province the person having committed the alleged crime argued with 22 year-old resident of Hrazdan during which for the purpose of illegal deprivation of life he stabbed the  young man on his vital organs which caused the latter’s death.

A criminal case was initiated in Kotayk Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 (murder) of RA Criminal Code.

During preliminary investigation large-scale investigative and procedural actions were conducted - inspection of the scene, during which blood-like traces were found, samples were taken, witnesses were questioned, forensic examinations were commissioned.

In the result of taken measures the person having committed the alleged crime was identified; he is a resident of Yerevan, RF citizen, born in 1977.

Measures are taken to find and bring him to the investigative body, to provide comprehensive, objective and complete investigation of circumstances of the case.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
