A criminal case was initiated in Berd Investigative Division of Tavush Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee on 49 year-old woman's death in the town of Berd.

On May 11, 2018 at about 14:30 a call was received informing that on the same day at 12:30 in one of the houses located in Tavush region husband, born in 1965, inflicted his wife, the resident of the same region, born in 1969, M. Begyan, bodily injuries incompatible with life with a sharp cutting item and fled. The 49 year-old woman died of the bodily injuries she had sustained.

A criminal case was initiated in the RA IC Berd Investigative Division of Tavush Regional Investigative Department on 49 year-old woman's death according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code, the 49 year-old woman was found the injured party. Inspection of the scene was conducted.

Forensic medical examination was commissioned.

Investigation is under way, measures are taken to find all circumstances of the case, to clarify the activities of the person having committed the alleged crime and to give appropriate criminal legal assessment.
