On 31 August, 2020 at about 02:00 during the argument on domestic matters that took place at a house in Verin Karmir Aghbyur settlement of Berd community, for the purpose of illegal deprivation of life 35 year-old resident of Yerevan hit 39 year-old resident of Berd town with hands and feet for numerous times on his head and different parts of his body. As a result, the latter died of bodily injuries incompatible with life.

A criminal case was initiated in Berd Investigative Division of Tavush Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 (murder) of RA Criminal Code.

35 year-old resident of Yerevan was arrested on suspicion of 39 year-old man’s murder.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
