Necessary investigatory and other procedural actions are conducted in the Investigative Division of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee to find out all circumstances of hooliganism by using weapon committed in Yerevan.

On July 23, 2018 at 23:10 a call was received from “Erebuni Medical Center” CJSC informing that a resident of Yerevan, born in 1991, with firearm injury was taken to “Erebuni Medical Center” CJSC.

In the result of measures taken within the criminal case it was found out that the young man had sustained the mentioned injury near “Erebuni Medical Center”. Through inspection of the scene 3 capsules of 9 mm caliber were found. According to the expert’s initial examination the capsules are traumatic.

On the same day a criminal case was initiated in the RA IC Investigative Division of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department according to the Part 4 of the Article 258 of RA Criminal Code, an investigatory group was formed.

Forensic medical and forensic criminological examinations were commissioned to find out circumstances significant for the criminal case. A number of people were questioned, the clothes the injured was wearing at the moment of the incident as well as the black rubber ball of 5 mm caliber removed from the blind wound during the operation were confiscated.

In the result of urgent measures the motive of the quarrel was found out, data were obtained on the person having committed the alleged crime. The relevant subdivisions of the police were tasked to take measures to find the latter and bring him to the investigative body.
