In the result of investigative and other procedural actions conducted, as well as urgent measures taken jointly with the employees of the RA Police in the framework of the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Ajapnyak and Davtashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee hooliganism committed with a weapon in the beer house was disclosed.

Pursuant to initial data, on January 11 at about 23:40 the person having committed the alleged crime, in order to emphasize his own self, with a weapon procured and kept illegally fired a shot in the beer house located in A. Vshtuni Street, Yerevan towards the employee of the same beer house on her knee causing firearm injury and disturbing the normal work of the beer house.

A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Ajapnyak and Davtashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 4 of the Article 258 and the Part 1 of the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code. The employee was found the injured party.

During preliminary investigation inspection of the scene was conducted during which a capsule of 7X62 mm caliber, a ball case, as well as blood-like traces was found, samples were taken, witnesses were questioned, forensic medical, forensic ballistic, forensic trace and forensic chemical examinations were commissioned.

In the result of taken measures the person having committed the alleged crime was identified; he is a resident of Aragatsotn region, born in 1990. The latter was arrested on suspicion of committing banditry.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Measures are taken to find out all circumstances, to verify the circumstances mentioned in the testimonies.
