Investigation is conducted in the Investigative Division of Ajapnyak and Davtashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee to find out all circumstances of two young men’s stabbing in Leningradyan Street.

On June 15, 2020 at 02:40 a call was received from “Astghik” medical center informing that young men, born in 1999 and 2000 with cut-pierced wounds were taken to them.

A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Ajapnyak and Davtashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Point 1 of the Part 2 of the Article 112 (willful infliction of heavy bodily damage) of RA Criminal Code.

Through investigation data were obtained on the allegation that the young men had sustained the bodily injuries during the argument and brawl among a group of people in Leningradyan Street, Yerevan on June 15, 2020 from 00:00 to 00:30.

During preliminary investigation a number of investigatory actions were conducted – inspection of the scene during which blood-like traces were found and taken, a number of people were questioned, forensic examinations were commissioned.

Preliminary investigation is conducted.

Investigatory actions are conducted, operative-intelligence measures are taken to find out all circumstances, the motive, to identify the person (persons) having committed the alleged crime, the frame of those involved in the incident, to personalize the actions of each of them and to give criminal legal assessment.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
