Delegation of RA Investigative Committee Took Part in Training Held in “International Academy of Law Enforcement Bodies”
The delegation of the RA Investigative Committee funded by U.S.A. State Department took part in the training held in “International Academy of Law Enforcement Bodies” in Budapest from October 29 to November 2, 2018.
The representative of the RA Police Educational Complex involved in the Armenian delegation also took part in the training. RA Investigative Committee was presented by Deputy Head of the Department of Investigation of Crimes on Human Trafficking and Illegal Turnover of Drugs of General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases, senior investigator of particularly important cases, second class adviser of justice T. Kirakosyan, senior investigator of particularly important cases of the same department, second class adviser of justice M. Manasyan and Head of the Department of Legal Provision and Statistics, first class adviser of state service D. Tumasyan.
Training held in “International Academy of Law Enforcement Bodies” referred to fight against human trafficking and in addition to Armenian delegation representatives of Albania, Montenegro, Serbia and Hungary also took part in it.
Training courses covered the study of trafficking cases, investigation peculiarities, peculiarities of evidence collection within those cases, assistance to those affected, their psychological peculiarities. During training tasks were given which were either done at the class or were done for the next day. At the end of the course the representatives of the states involved had to make a speech presenting the practice of their states.
The representative of Armenian delegation D. Tumasyan made a 15-minute presentation entitled “Human Trafficking – Legislation and Situation in the Republic of Armenia”.
At the end of the course every participant was given a certificate on the course done efficiently. The participants were registered on the internet platform where those involved in the training can discuss several issues directly contacting the representatives of that state, if necessary.
