Necessary investigatory actions are conducted in the framework of the criminal case investigated in Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee to find all circumstances of smuggling drugs to the Republic of Armenia. Search was declared.
 

Drug of “Buprenorphine” type was found at the mail exchange office of “Haypost” CJSC during the inspection of the parcel delivered from France. In the result of investigatory actions of great volume conducted in Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee the person having delivered the parcel was identified, a number of circumstances significant for the criminal case were found.
 

According to preliminary investigation data, RA citizen A. Avanesov, actually registered in France, reached prior agreement via phone with a prisoner of “Nubarashen” penitentiary on smuggling drug of “Buprenorphine” type in particularly large amount to the Republic of Armenia and selling it to the latter. Pursuant to the agreement, the prisoner gave his brother’s data and address to A. Avanesov to deliver the parcel where the drug should be hidden.
 

The drug of “Buprenorphine” type was packed in a polyethylene package and in order to conceal it from customs control it was placed in a foam container of “NIVEA FOR MEN” for shaving then it was delivered to Armenia to the address of prisoner’s brother via postal service operating in the Republic of France. The drug was found at the mail exchange office of “Haypost” CJSC during the inspection of the parcel.
 

On the base of the obtained evidence the investigator made a decision to involve A. Avanesov as a defendant according to the Point 2 of the Part 3 of the Article 266 and the Point 1 of the Part 4 of the Article 267.1 of RA Criminal Code. Search was declared against him.
 

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
