In the Result of Shots Fired by Enemy House of Resident of Berqaber Village of Tavush Province Damaged; Criminal Case Initiated
On May 13, 2020 from 13:00 to 14:00 for the purpose of depriving two or more people from life, in a way dangerous for the life of many people, out of motives of national, race or religious hate or fanatism shots were fired with firearms of several calibers from enemy bases towards the village of Berqaber of Tavush province. However, under unforeseen circumstances the crime was not completed.
In the result of the shots the bedroom window and partition of one of the houses of the village were damaged.
Inspection of the scene was conducted during which a ball of 12.7mm caliber was found.
A criminal case was initiated in Tavush Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Points 1, 6 and 13 of the Part 2 of the Article 34-104 (murder attempt against two or more people in a way dangerous for the life of many people, out of motives of national, race or religious hate or fanatism) of RA Criminal Code.
Preliminary investigation is conducted.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
