Investigation Conducted to Find out Circumstances of Murder of 35 Year-Old Resident of Gyumri
On 13 September, 2020 at 19:23 a call was received from “Gyumri Medical Center” CJSC informing that 35 year-old resident of Gyumri town with “cut-pierced wound on the left sternum, bruise on the left hip, scratches on the limbs – biological death”, as well as 34 year-old resident of the same town with “cut-pierced wound on the left lumbar region” were taken to them.
Pursuant to initial data, on 13 September, 2020 at about 18:35 in the park located in 61th district of Shirakatsi Street of Gyumri town the person having committed the alleged crime argued with 35 and 34 year-old men and stabbed the latter with a cutting-piercing item. As a result, 35 year-old man was caused bodily injuries incompatible with life.
A criminal case was initiated in Shirak Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 (murder) of RA Criminal Code. Conduction of preliminary investigation was tasked to the investigatory group.
Inspection of the scene was conducted, the clothes of the victims were confiscated, forensic examinations were commissioned, the relevant subdivision of the RA Police was instructed to take operative-intelligence measures.
Urgent measures are taken to find out all circumstances, to identify the person (persons) having committed the alleged crime.
Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
