The Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee Aghvan Hovsepyan signed an order to encourage two investigators of the Investigative Division of Qanaqer-Zeytun administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee for conscientious performance of their duties.

In the framework of the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Qanaqer-Zeytun administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee on February 18, 2017 two persons were involved as a defendant for committing theft in particularly large amount by entering a flat. On the same day a motion was submitted to court to use detention as a pretrial measure against the defendants which was rejected. On March 21, 2017 the Court of Appeal sufficed the appeal against the decision of the Court of First Instance on rejecting the motion to use detention as a pretrial measure and chose detention as a pretrial measure. On the same day one of the defendants escaped and search was declared against him. Relevant subdivisions of the Police were tasked to take measures to find and bring him to the investigative body.

On June 8, 2017 the wanted was found by senior investigator of the Investigative Division of Qanaqer-Zeytun administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee Aleqsey Karapetyants and the investigator of the same division Narek Mkrtchyan – seeing him in Armenakyan Street of Yerevan they immediately took measures to take the wanted to the investigative division.

Besides, on August 4, 2017 an application was received from the Advocate of the RA Chamber of Advocates informing that during preliminary investigation of the criminal case on domestic violence senior investigator of the Investigative Division of Qanaqer-Zeytun administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee Aleqsey Karapetyants, demonstrating professionalism and diligence, found a number of circumstances significant for the correct solution of the case maintaining the reasonable terms and completeness and comprehensiveness of the investigation.

By the order of the Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee A. Hovsepyan senior investigator of the Investigative Division of Qanaqer-Zeytun administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee Aleqsey Karapetyants was awarded with «Best Investigator» medal, and the investigator Narek Mkrtchyan was officially thanked and was encouraged with money reward in the amount of one month's salary.
