Through preliminary investigation of the criminal case investigated in Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee initiated on theft attempt and murder attempt against policemen performing their official duties in Vanadzor more than two dozen of thefts committed in Lori were revealed.

It was earlier informed that shots were fired towards the policemen who had left for the site on the night of January 30 on the base of the call on theft by the persons who had committed theft attempt. 

In the result of measures taken in the framework of the criminal case initiated in Lori Regional Investigative Department the persons having committed the apparent crime were identified and found.

On the base of the obtained evidence charge was pressed against the residents of Lori A. Sargsyan, A. Galstyan, R. Rstakyan, detention was used as a pretrial measure against them.

In the result of investigatory actions conducted for comprehensive, objective and complete investigation of circumstances of the case more than two dozen of thefts were revealed.

Particularly, it was found that A. Galstyan, R. Rstakyan and A. Sargsyan together, as well as separately committed about 22 thefts and theft attempts 18 of which were committed from apartments, 3 – by illegally entering a warehouse or facility, 2 – from cars.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
