Preliminary investigation of the criminal case initiated on murder attempt against policemen who had left for the site on the base of the call on theft in Vanadzor was completed in General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the RA Investigative Committee, charge was pressed against three persons.
 

On the night of January 30, 2016 a call on theft committed in the neighbor’s house was received from one of the residents of Vanadzor town. On the base of the call officers of Taron’s Division of Criminal Intelligence Service of Lori Regional Department of the Police and senior inspector of community police immediately arrived at the site. 
 

It was found that a group of persons with prior agreement to commit swindling entered one of the houses located in Narekatsi Street of Vanadzor where nobody lived and taking several items tried to leave. Noticing the policemen who had arrived at the site the persons having committed the apparent crime tried to escape through the window and fired towards the policemen performing their official duties. The latters pursued and arrested those having committed the apparent crime.
 

In the result of comprehensive, objective and complete investigation conducted in the framework of the criminal case investigated in General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the RA Investigative Committee not only the circumstances of the mentioned theft attempt were found but also a number of other crimes committed formerly by the members of the same group were revealed.
 

Particularly, it was grounded that they together, as well as separately committed more than 20 thefts and theft attempts from flats, cars, shops.
 

On the base of sufficient evidence obtained during pretrial proceeding charge was pressed against A. Sargsyan according to the Points 1 and 2 of the Part 2 of the Article 34-104, the Part 1 of the Article 235, the Point 1.1 of the Part 3 of the Article 34-177 (2 counts), the Points 1, 2 and 3 of the Part 2 of the article 177 and the Point 1.1 of the Part 3 of the Article 38-177 of RA Criminal Code.
 

Charge was pressed against A. Galstyan according to the Points 1 and 2 of the Part 2 of the Article 34-104, the Part 1 of the Article 235, the Point 1.1 of the Part 3 of the Article 34-177(4 counts),the Point 1.1 of the Part 3 of the Article 177(13 counts), the Point 3 of the Part 2 of the Article 177, the Points 2 and 3 of the Part 2 of the Article 177,  the Points 1, 2 and 3 of the Part 2 of the Article 177 and the Points 1 and 3 of the Part 2 of the Article 177 of RA Criminal Code.
 

Charge was pressed against R. Rstakyan according to the Part 1 of the Article 316, the Point 1.1 of the Part 3 of the Article 34-177(4 counts), the Point 1.1 of the Part 3 of the Article 177(10 counts), the Point 1.1 of the Part 3 of the Article 38-177(3 counts), the Points 1, 2 and 3 of the Part 2 of the Article 177 and the Points 1 and 3 of the Part 2 of the Article 177 of RA Criminal Code.
 

Preliminary investigation was completed and the criminal case with the bill of indictment was sent to prosecutor supervising the legality of preliminary investigation.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
