Murder combined with banditry; investigation conducted
A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Ajapnyak and Davitashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of RA Investigative Committee on murder of the resident of Yerevan Ani Majnunyan.
On August 5, 2015 a call was received informing that a woman’s body was found in the apartment of one of the residential multistoried buildings of Ajapnyak administrative district. The operative-investigatory group headed by the Head of the Investigative Division of Ajapnyak and Davitashen administrative districts, Sahak Grigoryan immediately left for the scene.
The body of the hostess 55 year-pld Ani Majnunyan with numerous bodily injuries inflicted with a cutting-piercing object was found on the bedroom floor.
Through the inspection of the body a knife blade was found inside the body. Through the inspection of the scene it was found that the goods in the flat were upside-down, the drawers of the furniture were taken out, the clothes were scattered about.
A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Ajapnyak and Davitashen administrative districts according to the Point 8 of the Part 2 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code (murder combined with banditry).
Samples were taken from the scene, forensic examinations were appointed.
Working hypotheses were developed, investigation is conducted to check them.
