Preliminary investigation of the criminal case initiated on battery committed by husband against wife in a public place was completed in the Investigative Division of Kentron and Norq-Marash administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee.
 

It was earlier informed that on November 26, 2016 a report was received from the resident of Yerevan H. Mnatsakanyan informing that her husband argued with her without a serious reason in front of 68, Teryan Street, he pulled her hair, hit her on different parts of her body.
 

Preliminary investigation of the criminal case initiated according to the Article 118 of RA Criminal Code was conducted in the Investigative Division of Kentron and Norq-Marash administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee. The woman was found an injured party.
 

Urgent investigatory actions were conducted in the framework of the criminal case to find the circumstances of the case, to provide the comprehensive, objective and complete investigation of the case, forensic medical examination was commissioned, confrontation was conducted.
 

Through investigation sufficient evidence were obtained on the allegation that husband had used violence against wife, the motive of argument was found which shall not published as it contains information on personal life. According to the Article 31 of RA Constitution everybody has the right to immunity for private and family life, honor and reputation.
 

On the base of the evidence obtained during pretrial proceeding charge was pressed against husband according to the Article 118 of RA Criminal Code.
 

Preliminary investigation was completed and the criminal case with the bill of indictment was sent to prosecutor supervising the legality of preliminary investigation.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
