RA Criminal Court of Appeal Left Decision of Court of First Instance on Choosing Detention as Pretrial Measure against Ruben Hayrapetyan unchanged
RA Criminal Court of Appeal left the decision of the Court of First Instance on choosing detention as a pretrial measure against Ruben Hayrapetyan unchanged. The decision of the Court of First Instance had been appealed.
We remind that within the criminal case investigated in General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the RA Investigative Committee on apparent arrogation, illegal deprivation of freedom, causing strong physical pain and strong mental suffering to the head of the executive body of «Harsnaqar» restaurant-hotel complex Ruben Hayrapetyan was involved as a defendant, as well. Motion was submitted to the Court of First Instance of Yerevan to choose detention as a pretrial measure against him which was sufficed.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
