Preliminary investigation of the criminal case initiated on murder and murder attempt committed by 45 year-old man was completed in Armavir Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee.

It was earlier informed that on May 10, 2020 at about 02:40 45 year-old man entered the house located in Charents Street of Armavir, for the purpose of illegal deprivation of life, fired a shot towards 29 year-old resident of the same house with a hunting gun of 16mm caliber and fled. The latter died at the scene of the injuries he had sustained.

On the same day from 05:00 to 05:30 45 year-old man getting to the land located in the administrative area of Geghakert village of Armavir province decided to eat strawberry then to continue his way. However, meeting the owner of the land he started arguing with him during which for the purpose of illegal deprivation of life, 45 year-old man stabbed the owner of the land on vital organs causing bodily injuries but he could not complete the crime under unforeseen circumstances and fled.

On the base of the obtained sufficient evidence charge was pressed against 45 year-old man according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 (murder) and the Part 1 of the Article 34-104 (murder attempt) of RA Criminal Code. Detention was chosen as a pretrial measure against him.

Preliminary investigation was completed and the criminal case with the bill of indictment was sent to court.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
