In the framework of the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Kentron and Norq-Marash administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee circumstances of hooliganism committed at the area of petrol station were found, search was declared against the person having committed the alleged crime.

Pursuant to initial data, on December 15, 2017 from 16:00 to 17:00 during the argument that took place in the hall next to the petrol station operating in Armenakyan Street the person having committed the alleged crime fired a shot towards the right foot of L. Gabrielyan, born in 1997, inflicting bodily injury and escaped.  

A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Kentron and Norq-Marash administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 4 of the Article 258 of RA Criminal Code, an investigatory group was formed and L. Gabrielyan was found an injured party. Inspection of the site was conducted, the memory card of the camera available at the site was confiscated, numerous people were interrogated.

In the result of urgent investigatory and operative-intelligence measures the person having committed the alleged crime was identified; he is a resident of Yerevan and is a customer of the mentioned petrol station. On the base of the obtained evidence the latter was involved as a defendant according to the Part 4 of the Article 258 of RA Criminal Code and search was declared against him.

Forensic medical, forensic ballistic – forensic chemical complex and video-recording examinations were commissioned.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing, relevant subdivisions of the police were tasked to take measures to find the person having committed the alleged crime, to bring him to the investigative body and to find all circumstances of the case.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
