Investigation is conducted in the Investigative Division of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee to find out all circumstances of three cases of firing shots in Erebuni community.

Pursuant to investigation data, on November 10, 2019 at about 15:00 shots were fired with a firearm towards the window of a workshop located in Burnazyan Street, Yerevan damaging one of the double-layer glasses and the camera fixed on the wall.

A criminal case was initiated in Erebuni Police Division according to the Part 1 of the Article 235 and the Part 2 of the Article 258 of RA Criminal Code which was sent to the Investigative Division of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department for preliminary investigation and was received in proceeding.

Besides, data were also obtained on firing shots towards an apartment located on the first floor of one of the houses of Tigran Mets Avenue committed on the morning of November 15, 2019 as well as towards the office located on Tigran Mets Avenue committed on November 21, 2019 at about 00:30.

Criminal cases were initiated in the Police according to the Part 2 of the Article 258 and the Part 1 of the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code which were sent to Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department for preliminary investigation and were received in proceeding.

In the result of operative-intelligence measures data were obtained on the apparent organizer of the armed incidents and some of those involved in them. Data were also obtained that they might have kept weapon and ammunition in their residences.

Conditioned by the actual circumstances of criminal cases, out of necessity to provide the comprehensive, complete and objective investigation a decision was made to join the mentioned three criminal cases in one proceeding and to conduct joint investigation, an investigatory plan was worked out, working hypotheses were put forward.

During preliminary investigation inspections of the scenes were conducted and there were firearm injuries on the items found at the scenes. Four fragments of fired bullets, a damaged camera, remnants of fired bullets, capsules of 25 fired bullets of 5/39 caliber were found and confiscated. A car of «Toyota Corolla» make with firearm injuries was also found.

Forensic ballistic, forensic chemical examinations, as well as forensic merchandising complex examination were commissioned to find out circumstances significant for the criminal case.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Necessary measures are taken together with relevant subdivisions of the Police to find out all circumstances, to find those involved in the incidents and to bring them to the investigative body.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
