Investigation is conducted in Armavir Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee to find out all circumstances of stabbing committed in Armavir town.

On May 22, 2019 a call was received from Armavir medical center informing that on the same day at about 00:05 two residents of Armavir town with diagnosis of «cut-pierced wound on the chest» were taken to medical center.

A criminal case was initiated in Armavir Regional Investigative Department according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code. The residents of Armavir, born in 1988 and 1989, were found the injured party.

Pursuant to data obtained through investigation on May 23, 2019 at about 00:05 a row on not giving way erupted between fellow townsmen during which the person having committed the alleged crime stabbed two residents of Armavir town and caused bodily injuries.

On May 25, 2015 the person having committed the alleged crime, who is a resident of Armavir, born in 1996, turned himself to Armavir Regional Investigative Department and confessed.

On the base of the obtained evidence charge was pressed against 23 year-old man according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code. Signature not to leave was chosen as a pretrial measure against him.

Forensic medical, forensic trace examinations were commissioned.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Measures are taken to provide the comprehensive, complete and objective investigation of circumstances of the case.
