Investigation is conducted in Kotayk Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee to find out circumstances of 50 year-old man's stabbing.

On November 4, 2018 at about 10:05 a call was received in Hrazdan Division of the Police from «Hrazdan» medical center informing that a resident of Hrazdan, born in 1967, with a diagnosis of «cut-pierced wound on the left side, penetrating wound on the abdomen» turned to medical center and told that he had been stabbed.

On November 4, 2018 a criminal case was initiated in Hrazdan Division of the RA Police according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code which on the same day was received in the proceeding of RA IC Kotayk Regional Investigative Department. 50 year-old man was found the injured party, however, according to the doctor, the man was not able to give testimony.

In the result of investigatory and other procedural actions a number of circumstances, the motive, the scene were found out, the person having committed the alleged crime was identified; he is a resident of the same town, born in 1977. The latter turned himself to the investigative body, presented the knife which was the crime tool and gave testimony. Signature not to leave was chosen as a pretrial measure against him.

Forensic medical examination was commissioned to find out circumstances significant for the criminal case.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Measures are taken to provide the comprehensive, complete and objective investigation of circumstances of the case and to verify the circumstances mentioned in the testimony.
