A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Kentron and Norq-Marash administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee on stabbing the resident of Yerevan, the suspect was arrested.

On February 1, 2018 at 14:15 a call was received from Central Military Hospital informing that a resident of Yerevan, born in 1972, with cut-pierced injuries was taken to hospital.

A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Kentron and Norq-Marash administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code.

Pursuant to initial data, the man had sustained heavy bodily injuries at 50, Khanjyan Street, Yerevan. In the result of urgent investigatory and operative-searching measures taken in the framework of the criminal case the person having committed the alleged crime was identified, the latter was arrested. The suspect is also a resident of Yerevan, born in 1978.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing, necessary investigatory actions are conducted to find all circumstances of the case, the motive of the argument.
