In the framework of the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Avan and Nor Norq administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee stabbing of three persons was revealed. Charge was pressed against 1 person.

On July 21, 2017 at 01:10 a call was received from “Saint Gregory the Illuminator” medical center informing that 3 persons with cut-pierced wounds were taken to medical center; Zh. Ghazaryan – with “cut-pierced wound on the abdomen from the left side”, K. Derziyan – “with cut-pierced wound on the left part of the chest” and E. Harutyunyan “with cut-pierced wound on the abdomen”.

In the result of measures taken in the framework of the criminal case it was found that the mentioned people had sustained the bodily injuries on July 21, 2017 at about 00:30 during the brawl which took place in Jugha Street of Yerevan.

A criminal case was initiated according to the Point 1 of the Part 2 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code preliminary investigation of which is conducted in the RA IC Investigative Division of Avan and Nor Norq administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department, an investigatory group was formed.  

The three citizens who had sustained bodily injuries were found the injured party. Forensic medical and forensic biological examinations were commissioned, the clothes of the injured were confiscated, witnesses were interrogated.

In the result of necessary investigatory and operative-searching actions conducted in the Investigative Division of Avan and Nor Norq administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department a number of circumstances of the incident were found, the person having committed the alleged crime was identified.

On the base of the obtained evidence charge was pressed against the latter according to the Point 1 of the Part 2 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code and detention was chosen as a pretrial measure against him.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing, measures are taken to identify all those involved in the incident, to personalize the actions of each of them.  

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
