In the framework of the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Shengavit administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee stabbing of two persons in Yerevan was revealed – the person having committed the alleged crime was identified, the motive of the argument was found.

On June 5, 2017 a call was received informing that young men, born in 1992 and 1988, with cut-pierced wounds were taken to medical center. It was found that they had sustained heavy bodily injuries during the argument that took place in the park after “Komitas”.  

A criminal case was initiated preliminary investigation of which was conducted in the RA IC Investigative Division of Shengavit administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department. In the result of investigatory and operative-searching measures taken in the framework of the criminal case the circumstances of the case were found.

Factual data were obtained on identification of the person having committed the alleged crime; he is a resident of Yerevan, born in 1993, the motive of the argument between the young men was found; it is related to the private life of those involved.

On the base of the obtained sufficient evidence charge was pressed against 24 year-old young man according to the Point 1 of the Part 2 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code, detention was chosen as a pretrial measure against him.

Preliminary investigation was completed and the criminal case with the bill of indictment was sent to the prosecutor supervising the legality of preliminary investigation.
