Two more people arrested in the framework of the criminal case on armed incident that took place in Gyumri
Preliminary investigation of the criminal case initiated on armed incident that took place in Gyumri on the evening of March 7, 2015 is ongoing in Shirak Regional Investigative Department of RA Investigative Committee. In the framework of the criminal case two more people were arrested.
Taking the public interest into consideration, we inform that RA citizen Artak Ghazaryan was arrested on suspicion of committing hooliganism with objects used as a weapon and RA citizen Meruzhan Movsisyan was arrested on suspicion of committing hooliganism with a group of people.
Earlier it was informed that on the base of the obtained evidence three persons were charged for committing hooliganism with a group of people.
Imprisonment was chosen as a pretrial measure against them.
Preliminary investigation of the criminal case is ongoing. Necessary investigative and operative searching ,measures are taken to provide the comprehensive examination of the circumstances of the case, to identify all the participants, to reveal the action of each participant, as well as to find P. Araqelyan, Ashot and Garnik Grigoryans who are under persecution.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
