Voted instead of dead person in Ptxavan; a criminal case initiated
A criminal case was initiated in Noyemberyan Investigative Division of Tavush Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee on voting instead of another person.
Materials were received in Tavush Regional Investigative Department informing that during municipal elections held on September 18, 2016 at precinct N 40/5 somebody signed before the name of the dead resident of Ptxavan village Vasili Ghevondov involved in the voter list and voted.
On September 27, 2016 a criminal case was initiated in Noyemberyan Investigative Division of Tavush Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Article 153 of RA Criminal Code.
Necessary investigatory actions are conducted to find the person having committed the apparent crime.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
