IC Regional Investigative Departments will Work with Full Staff Conditioned with Elections of Local Self-Government Bodies
By the instruction of the Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee Hayk Grigoryan RA IC Territorial subdivisions will work with full staff conditioned with elections of local self-government bodies to be held on February 17, 2019 in 24 RA communities.
On the day of elections of local self-government bodies the work of regional investigative departments will be coordinated by the Department of Investigation of General and Election-Related Crimes of General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the RA Investigative Committee.
Materials with apparent electoral breaches will be investigated in the Department of Investigation of General and Election-Related Crimes by investigators specialized in investigations of electoral crimes.
Let us mention that on February 17, 2019 elections of local self-government bodies will be held in 24 communities. Elections in 14 communities are regular and in 10 – special. In 20 communities elections of community head and in 4 communities elections of council member will be held.
