A criminal case was initiated in Masis Investigative Division of Ararat Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee on willful infliction of heavy bodily damage.

Pursuant to initial data, on January 21, 2019 at 4:55 a call was received in Masis Division of the Police from Masis medical center informing that a female resident of Masis town, born in 1998, with a diagnosis of  “cut-pierced wound on the left inguinal region, internal bleeding” was taken to medical center.

A criminal case was initiated in Masis Investigative Division of Ararat Regional Investigative Department according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code.

During preparation of materials it was found out that during the argument that took place at the end of Heratsi Street of Masis town 20 year-old female resident of Yerevan stabbed another woman of her age causing heavy bodily damage.

On January 21, 2019 the person having committed the alleged crime was found and gave confessional testimony.

Signature not to leave was chosen as a pretrial measure against her.

Through inspection of the scene the black folding knife was found.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
