In the result of investigatory actions conducted in Masis Investigative Division of Ararat Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee circumstances of stabbing committed in Masis on March 1, the motive of the argument were found, the suspect was arrested.
 

On March 1, 2017 a report was received informing that at 15:30 the resident of Ararat region, born in 1993, with “penetrating injury on the abdomen” was taken to medical center.
 

On the same day a criminal case was initiated in Masis Investigative Division of Ararat Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code. In the result of necessary investigatory actions conducted in the framework of the criminal case the causes of sustaining heavy bodily injuries by the young man were found, the person having committed the apparent crime was identified; he is A. Hayrapetyan – 26 year-old resident of Ararat region. The suspect was arrested and questioned.
 

Taking the public interest into consideration we inform that through investigation sufficient evidence were obtained on the allegation that the motive of the argument ended in stabbing was domestic.
 

On February 28 the injured met the suspect for having scolded him in order to get clarification during which the suspect was punched. During the argument the injured was stabbed once.
 

Forensic medical examinations were commissioned, eye-witnesses were questioned.
 

Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Measures are taken to provide the objective, complete and comprehensive investigation of the case.
